The Upper Midwest Boykin Spaniel Club offers two types of membership, "Regular" and "Affiliate".
Regular Memberships are intended for owners of purebred Boykin spaniels who live in the regions of the Upper Midwestern states, as displayed in color above. Regular members are able to vote in elections, vote on changes to the club bylaws, and (after at least 12 months of continuous Regular membership) seek election to the Board of Directors as vacancies occur.
Directors are elected in even-numbered years.
Other benefits of Regular membership arise from time to time.
Affiliate Memberships are intended for any non-Boykin spaniel owners or for Boykin spaniel owners who live outside of the Club territory.
All members receive the quarterly newsletter and periodic email alerts to special happenings of the UMBSC and its members.
Please be sure to help with the growth of the Club, and lessen the work load on others, by telling us what you're willing to do to help out. We always need people to serve on committees, or just simply pitch in by applying any special talents or interests they might have.

ON-LINE BOYKIN SPANIEL FORUM
Weekend picnics, hunting excursions, and similar types of events for dogs and humans can serve to unite owners in small regions of the Club "territory". We've decided that informal gatherings are much more feasible to accomplish than setting up anything formalized. Please feel free to use our forum at http://msbsrc.proboards.com to seek out others who live near you and might want to get together on a weekend, or for any other purpose. You'll have to register at the forum in order to participate, but that's free.
The forum is shared by Boykin spaniel owners and fans from all across the country. There's a lot of knowledge inside the various sub-forums and even a place to post photos of your dogs.
